Information Technology College

Information Technology College of Beijing Normal University Zhuhai Campus (I.T.C. Zhuhai) is supported by the School of Information Science from the main campus to provide practical, state-of-the-art information technology (IT) degree course and training, research and development, in collaboration with the IT industry. I.T.C. (Zhuhai) is located in Tangjia Wan, Zhuhai Special Economic Zone, which is only an hour’s journey to Hong Kong and Macao and within 5 kilometer’s away from the Southern Software Park and High-tech Innovation Coast. Such a convenient geographic location enables I.T.C (Zhuhai) to capture the advantages of the information infrastructure, the cluster of leading IT companies and the mass of IT professionals. I.T.C. Zhuhai also endeavors to develop academic exchanges and cooperation among Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and oversea universities.

Currently, I.T.C.(Zhuhai) is the largest academics of BNU Zhuhai campus with nearly 600 students undertaking various degree courses. Undergraduate courses BSc in Computer Science and Technology and BA in E-Commerce are currently available for prospective students. More undergraduate and postgraduate courses would be developed to meet the great demand of society.

  A number of modern computer teaching laboratories that are able to accommodate near 600 PC desktops and McIntosh desktops have been set up and are currently being used to provide teaching and extracurricular study. Laboratory for Electronic Technology and Laboratory for Microcomputer Theory have also been established to help students to master 
the fundamental knowledge of above fields.

I.T.C makes endeavor to establish cooperation with different I.T. certification organisations. I.T.C (Zhuhai) has been authorized as the Applied Microsoft Windows Learning Centre, the Applied Microsoft Windows Authorised Examination Centre and Apple Training Centre and has successfully provided training courses to students, business personnel and civil servants from local government.

 The vision of I.T.C (Zhuhai) is to become a leading national IT education, research and training centre and a hub of IT manpower supply through partnership collaboration between academics and the IT industry.
