Software Research Institute of 
Beijing Normal University at Zhuhai Campus

In a newly built up campus, a new Software Research Institute of Beijing Normal University at Zhuhai Campus (SRI of BNU at Zhuhai Campus) was built to meet the requirements of the high speed development of BNU at Zhuhai Campus. 

The object of the SRI is:

1. To become a research center for advanced software engineering theory and development

2. To become an educational base for advanced software engineering

3. To become a production base for high quality software systems development
   

Our research focuses on the following areas: 

• Software engineering such as requirement engineering

• Domain system automation/semi-automation engineering

• Intelligent objects and artificial intelligent systems

• The software development education practice, theory and methods

• The automated software development theory and practice

• The software developer educational field
  

The educational base of SRI offers research opportunities to postgraduate students, training courses to advanced software engineer and practice opportunities to computer science students.

SRI of BNU at Zhuhai Campus has an excellent developing team to produce commercial, research and educational software based on J2EE and Object Oriented technology. SRI of BNU at Zhuhai Campus has the best development frame and infrastructure, experienced system analysts and excellent developers. We also have an ongoing cooperation with universities, organizations and companies abroad and domestic.

Introduction of Major Members:

1. Dr. Sean Y. Wu obtained his Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley in 1990. Since then, he has been working on software development with silicon valley companies.

2. Senior engineer Cai Yong has 10-year software development experience.

3. Miss Liu Yue Ju gained her Bachelor’s degree from Beijing University and her Master’s degree from Canada York University.

4. Mr. He Zhi Jun gained his Master’s degree from the University of Da Lian Technology. 

5. Mr. Xu Xiang Shen is an excellent experienced software engineer.
